Abstract: |
n order to deepen the understanding of the evolution of microphysics in precipitation process and strengthen the application of raindrop spectrum data in meteorological services such as hail monitoring , the comparative analysis was carried out based on the raindrop size distribution data of snow , rain and hail processes in Jinsha County. The results show that : (1) The range of particle velocity and particle diameter is the widest in hail process , while the range of particle velocity is the smallest in snowfall process . In rainfall process , however , the range of particle diameter is smaller but the range of particle velocity is larger. (2) The distribution characteristics of particle diameter in the three types of weather are more consistent. The variation of distribution characteristics of velocity is quite different , and the peak values of rainfall and hail processes both appear around 4 . 4 m ·s - 1 . (3) The fitting effect of Z-R relation in rainfall progress is closest to the empirical formula. The data of raindrop size distribution can be used as an effective supplement to the analysis of multi-source detection data and can provide effective support for the revision of the locally applicable Z-R relation . |
