Abstract:To analyze the climate change characteristics of temperature in Yueyang over the past 72 years, using the temperature observation data from meteorological stations in Yueyang and the Dongting Lake area, as well as the methods of linear trend analysis, M_K mutation analysis, wavelet analysis, and contribution rate analysis, we analyze the characteristics of temperature changes in Yueyang from 1953 to 2024, and the contribution of monthly temperature to the annual temperature trend. The results show that the annual temperature in Yueyang presents an upward trend, with the highest rate of increase in average minimum temperature 0. 34 ℃ per decade, followed by average temperature (0. 26 ℃ per decade), and the lowest in average maximum temperature (0. 15 ℃ per decade). The rate of increase in average maximum temperature in spring is 0. 31 ℃ per decade, which accelerates the temperature increase in spring. There exists inter_monthly unevenness in temperature rise. Except in July and August, the average temperature shows a highly significant or significant upward trend in all other months. The average maximum temperature only has a significant upward trend in March, April, May and November, while the average minimum temperature is in a highly significant or significant upward trend in all months. The average temperature, average maximum temperature, and average minimum temperature all rise most rapidly in March at the rates of 0. 43, 0. 36, and 0. 49 ℃ per decade, respectively. The average temperature of each month makes a positive contribution to the increase of annual average temperature, of which the temperature in March contributes most, accounting for 8. 2%. The average minimum temperature contributes 70% to the annual average temperature increase. These findings can improve our understanding of the characteristics of temperature and climate change in lake areas under the background of global warming.
