    【目的】为评估风云卫星在台风暴雨预报和短临预警的应用能力。【方法】利用风云卫星云图、反演产品和欧洲中期天气预报中心(ECMWF)ERA5 逐小时再分析资料对 2023 年 7 月 18 日湖南 1 次受台风螺旋云系影响的大暴雨过程进行分析。【结果】1)此次大暴雨过程由台风“泰利 ”西行北上登陆后的螺旋云系造成,高空环流为两槽两脊形势,充分的水汽输送及动力条件为中小尺度暴雨云团的触发提供了有利的环境条件;2) “泰利 ”在登陆时,卫星云图上出现明显的台风眼区,湖南受台风螺旋云系影响,7 月 18 日午后出现多个白亮的对流云团,不断发展加强为成熟的积雨云,造成湖南的大暴雨天气;3)强降雨影响时段,中尺度对流系统 MCS 覆盖面积最大为 4 000 km2 , 对流亮温最低为 188 K , 最低温度递减率降至 - 19 . 8 K/ (5 min) , 中尺度对流系统(MCS)定量指标参数变化能较好地监测大暴雨的发展趋势,并具有一定的提前指示意义。【结论】风云卫星能精准解析台风暴雨系统发展演变特征,能为短时临近预报和预警服务提供新的技术支撑。

    Abstract:

    Abstract: To evaluate the application ability of Fengyun satellite in typhoon rainfall forecasting , short-time/ nowcasting and warning , the ERA5 hourly reanalysis data of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is used to analyze a heavy rainstorm process caused by a typhoon spiral cloud system in Hunan on July 18 , 2023 . The results denote that :1) This heavy rainstorm was caused by the spiral cloud system of Typhoon Talim that landed westward and northward . The upper-air circulation was a two-trough , two-ridge pattern . The adequate water vapor and dynamic conditions provided favorable ambient conditions for triggering meso- and small-scale rainstorm clouds . 2) There was an obvious typhoon eye when Typhoon Talim landed . Affected by the typhoon spiral cloud system , white-bright convective cloud clusters appeared in Hunan on the afternoon of July 18 , and they continuously developed into mature cumulonimbus clouds , leading to the heavy rainstorm process . 3 ) During the rainstorm , the maximum coverage area of mesoscale convective system ( MCS) reached 4 , 000 km2 , the minimum convective brightness temperature was 188 K , and the minimum temperature lapse rate dropped to - 19 . 8 K/5 min . The changes in the parameters of quantitative indicators of MCS can better monitor the developing trend of heavy rainfall , and have certain advance indication significance for the process of heavy rainfall . This research proves that Fengyun satellite can accurately analyze the evolution characteristics of typhoon and rainstorm systems , and is undoubtedly a technical support for short-time/nowcasting and early warning operations .
