Abstract:Abstract: To respond to the critical operational challenges of system redundancy , low collaborative efficiency , and the inherent conflict between data security and accessibility in meteorological departments , this paper designs and implements an integrated prefecture-level meteorological information management system , and , by using the VB technology and Access database , constructs a modular system integrating modular functions such as web navigation , supervision and task tracking , data sharing , information reporting , performance management , and document management into a comprehensive platform. Adopting a demand-driven research methodology and incorporating iterative development with user feedback , this study has successfully achieved a flexible , efficient and secure system. The implementation results demonstrate that this system has significantly enhanced the overall efficiency of meteorological information management , optimized data flow and decision support and advanced data-driven decision-making and collaborative platform development , achieving automation and transparency in operational processes . This system could provide a robust support for the modernization of meteorological information management and demonstrates a significant potential for broader societal applications .
