Abstract:Abstract: With the purpose to rank areas with insufficient monitoring data in order of their waterlogging risks and enhance the early warning system, the paper obtained critical rainfall values in the danger-hidden points by drawing on critical rainfall calculation model of flash flood. Taking Manzhouli as an example, we adopted a combination of single station critical rainfall method and inverse distance weighting method for analysis of existing rainfall monitoring data in meteorological station networks, waterlogging depth during the process, hourly rainfall, and geographical information of waterlogging danger-hidden points. Our findings assert that under the four waterlogging warning levels,. critical rainfall values for 17 single stations range from 2.5 to 39.6 in seven automatic rainfall stations, including the Mutual Trade zone and the benchmark station and 92 critical rainfall values for 23 danger-hidden points in front of the Taowa Square on Huabu Street vary from 4.30 to 29.11. Application of these critical rainfall values to waterlogging risk warning have achieved good effects.
