Abstract:Based on FY-2 satellite data and its retrieval products,on-board macro record data and airborne laser cloud and precipitation particle measurement data, the macro and micro physical parameters of cloud during a cloud seeding operation carried out on May 28, 2020 in northwest Guizhou Province were analyzed in detail. The results show that :① Before the operation, the area to be operated was covered by cloud system, the cloud black body temperature was between -5 ℃and -14 ℃, cloud-top height was between 3~4 km, and the cloud top temperature was between 0 ℃ and -10 ℃. Within 3 hours after operation, the cloud black body temperature decreased to about -30 ℃, the height of cloud top increased obviously, and the 5 km range of the operation area was expanded, indicating the development of cloud body after operation; ② In the process of cloud precipitation particle measurement, it was found that cloud particles mainly existed in the range of 5~6.3 km, while precipitation particles mainly existed in the range of 4~4.5 km. The precipitation particles measured at the same time were one order of magnitude less than the number concentration of cloud particles. The morphology of particles at different temperature levels is also different. At 0~4.7 ℃, columnar ice and snow crystals were the main particles, while at -6.5~-7.2 ℃, broad dendritic and acicular aggregate ice and snow crystals were the main particles.
