In order to explore the main climatic resources affecting the growth and development of Zanthoxylum Bungeanum and factors affected by meteorological disasters,in this peper,we applied the climate characteristics of different Zanthoxylum Bungeanum varieties and the mountain climate of Zunyi,then we based on GIS application technology and DEM to determine the climatic and ecological regionalization index that is suitable for the main Zanthoxylum Bungeanum cultivars.We made the refined zoning map,it shows:(1)the suitable cultivation areas for Zanthoxylum armatum．novemfolius are mainly distributed in the west and north of the 900 meters above sea level of Zunyi,the thermal conditions in the area are sufficient and the risk of cold injury in winter is relatively small;(2)sub-optimum cultivation areas are mainly distributed in the central and southeastern regions with an altitude of 600 to 1000 meters, the risk of low temperature damage is increased in winter,ranging from 25% to 40%;(3)the unsuitable areas are distributed in Xishui,Dalou Shan at an altitude of 1000 to 1100 meters above sea level, in this region, the risk of cold injury in winter is higher, above 50%.
