In order to effectively solve problems such as lack of rigorous investigation organization, inadequate investigation methods, insufficient investigation procedures, and inadequate standards of investigation report, and also in order to enhance the scientificity, standardization and authority of safety accident investigation, by applying modern safety management principles and according to relevant laws, regulations and business technical standards, based on the study of the classification of the safety accident, from seven aspects such as the "follow the principle of investigation, determine the investigation subject, optimize investigation process, clear the responsibility, grasp the method of investigation, scientific analysis of accident, submit the investigation report", some suggestions to regulate safety accident investigation are proposed in this paper, which will provide important guidance for future safety incident investigation.
